Children's Ministry at First Presbyterian
The Children's Ministry at First Presbyterian is in a season of new beginnings. A congregation with 140 years of history, inevitably experiences times of transition and we are excited to see where the Holy Spirit is leading us next. After a successful VBS program in July of 2024, we re-instituted Sunday School classes every other week during the 9am worship service. We believe it is vital for our kids to both experience and worship with the whole congregation and also have some time focused on their own. The good news of Jesus is the most compelling story ever told and so everything we do is committed to keeping Jesus at the center. Sunday School
Sunday School for all pre-K through 6th grade happens every other week during worship. Children start in the sanctuary with their families and then before the sermon are dismissed to class. We use the Jesus Storybook Bible as our curriculum to help our students experience how the whole Bible tells the story of Jesus.

VBS for Everyone

We believe that the church is at its best when all generations are together. So instead of VBS just for kids, we have VBS for all ages. We eat meals together, study scripture, play games, make crafts and have a lot of fun. Join us. 6-8pm
